Veethree Electronics and Marine LLC (Veethree Instruments)
is pleased to announce the release of our GPS based speedometer in April
2010. The GPS speedometer will be offered in many popular styles and speed
ranges to meet a variety of boat styles and applications. Each gauge
features an LCD heading display with excellent visibility in direct
sunlight. Because the speedometer is based on the NMEA 0183 protocol, the
Veethree GPS speedometers can utilize an existing NMEA 0183 GPS receiver,
or, can be installed with the Veethree receiver (purchased separately).
Because no parts enter the water, the system resolves problems associated
with corrosion and poor readings commonly experienced with pitot tube and
paddlewheel designs. The GPS speedometer is very effective at all speed
ranges including very slow and very fast applications.

Veethree
Acquires Telefex Incorporate Instrument Division
[Sarasota,
FL - March 9, 2009] Illinois
based company, Veethree, OEM supplier of mechanical and electronic
instrumentation, has announced that they have acquired the assets of the
Gauge Division of Teleflex Incorporated.
Veethree will be manufacturing the existing Teleflex product line
serving the marine and industrial markets in its state-of-the-art 35,000
sq. ft. manufacturing facility located in Sarasota,
Florida.
"We are very pleased to have the opportunity to continue the
great traditions of superior quality and styling that Teleflex has brought
to the instrumentation industry for the last forty years" said Shekhar
